Juno is one of my favorites movies. The story is about a pregnant girl, who decides to give her son in adoption. I think that this movie has good photographs, the mix of images and music is nice in Jason Reitman’s work. The most beautiful photograph is that!
It shows Juno Mac Guff, a teenager from Minesota kissing Paulie Bleeker, her friend and the father of the baby, in a baseball camp. This scene is at the last of the movie, when they decide to be together, and start again. Maybe it would be appear like a really romantic story, but sometimes it turns difficult and so untraditional; the picture shows it: Ellen Page and Michael Cera’s characters are really teenager in some of their acts, but sometimes they are so mature. Their love isn’t understood for another people, like his family or her best friend, but it doesn’t matters to Juno; she demonstrates it in this photo. This picture is taken at 2006 during the movie recording. Even it wasn’t use for advertising the film, I think that is the most representative image of this movie, because it show the fundamental argument: teenagers who doesn’t interesting to live their lives according to de social rules, Juno and Paulie could be reproach for a lot of things: the teenager pregnancy, the abort intention or the adopt option; but they decide (Juno mainly) to follow their convictions.
Also, the colors of this production are lots of my favorites: orange, yellow, green and brown. It is present even in their clothes that show a negligent style in Juno, who doesn’t care about her image and considerer the music like something really important in her life. Finally, I considerer like a nice style… I love her attitude in this photo, whit her finger rased!

  1. The photograph is incredible, it is grandiose, it is fantastic!
It has much style and it shows an attitude admirable. I imagine making this gesture to life and people; I imagine making this gesture to university! Jajajaja…
    Excellent choice.

  2. I have seen Juno the last year, and I think that is funny movie, but the most that i like is the soundtrack, because is a mixture between country and indie rock. To me it is a naive and simple story with treat of controversial and actual issues, such as the abortion, adolescent pregnant, and the adoption. Is a beautiful picture.

    Best wishes!
    See you.
